The electoral ballot has been finalized following the draw for the position of candidates ahead of the Elections in Colombia. Candidate Iván Cepeda is the first to appear on the ballot that Colombians will receive on May 31 in the first presidential round. Cepeda is also the candidate leading the polls, followed by Abelardo de la Espriella, who will be in box 5 on the ballot. They are followed by Paloma Valencia in box 12, Claudia López in 3, and Sergio Fajardo in 13.

The draw was carried out by the National Registry with the presence of presidential candidates Sondra Macollins and Carlos Caicedo, as well as vice-presidential candidate Pedro de la Torre.
Next to Iván Cepeda is a space that belonged to candidate Clara López, for Democratic Hope; however, the candidate left the presidential race to join Cepeda’s campaign.
The ballot for the elections will have 14 boxes, the last of which will be designated for the blank vote. In the boxes, both the presidential candidate and their vice-presidential running mate appear. The positions are as follows:

Each ballot includes the table number and the jury’s signature on the back of the electoral card.
How to mark the ballot
Voters must mark with an X or any sign inside the chosen box. If more than one box is marked, the vote will be nullified.
