The board of directors of Merlin Properties has unanimously approved the co-optation appointment of Miguel Oñate Rino as executive director, and he will serve as the new corporate general manager starting August 1, 2026, following the favorable report from the Appointments and Remunerations Committee.

This was communicated by the socimi to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), specifying that Oñate Rino will exercise, as corporate general manager, the responsibilities inherent to that position, as well as the ancillary or necessary ones for its performance.
The company has pointed out that the new director, who has gathered the full consensus of the company’s highest governing body, has formally accepted his positions after being appointed by the socimi’s board.

In its latest results published on May 13 and corresponding to the first quarter of 2026, the company obtained a recurring profit (FFO) of 87.4 million euros, 3.9% more than a year ago. Likewise, it increased its gross rental income by 10.3% to 146 million euros.
