ONCE Summer Extra Coupon: the first edition
The first edition was in the year 2000, although this first draw was called “Extraordinary Solidarity Draw.” That year, a prize of one billion pesetas was awarded for a single winning coupon. In addition, 5% of the proceeds were allocated to finance the work of the ONCE Foundation for Latin America with the blind community of Ibero-America and part of the costs of the Spanish Paralympic team for Sydney 2000.

It awards a first prize of 15,000,000 euros to the five digits and the series. In addition, 119 prizes of 40,000 euros are distributed to the five digits and 1,080 prizes of 1,200 euros to the last four digits of the first prize. There will also be prizes of 120, 12, and 6 euros.
How much does the Treasury take from the Summer Extra prize?
The minimum exemption for lottery prizes is €40,000 since January 1, 2020. Prizes under €40,000 are tax-exempt, and those over €40,000 will be subject to a 20% withholding tax.
