A two-year-old child, in serious condition after being hit by a car in Madrid

A two-year-old boy has been seriously injured after being run over by a car in Madrid’s Latina district, according to Emergencias Madrid.

The incident occurred around 7:30 PM on José de Cadalso street in the capital, where, for reasons under investigation, the minor crossed the road at a place not designated for pedestrian crossing and was run over by a car.

Samur-Protección Civil personnel stabilized the child, intubated him, and transferred him, with a severe traumatic brain injury, to Niño Jesús hospital.

The Municipal Police filed the report and escorted the convoy to the hospital to ensure a stable transfer.
