Telecinco cancels ‘¡De lunes a viernes!’ and announces the schedule for ‘Rueda la letra’, which avoids competing with ‘Pasapalabra’

Once the summer broadcasts are over, Telecinco adjusts its programming to make room for its returns and new premieres. The most notable change for the new season is the cancellation of ¡De lunes a viernes! due to its low audience ratings and the arrival of Rueda la letra in a time slot where it will not coincide with Pasapalabra.

On the other hand, El verano se mueve, Ion Aramendi’s show produced by Ana Rosa Quintana’s company, Unicorn Content, will remain in the afternoon schedule despite having achieved worse audience figures this summer than the spin-off of ¡De viernes!, produced by Mandarina.

This is how Telecinco’s afternoons will look from next week, September 7, as announced by the network this Wednesday:

15:55-17:55h – El verano se mueve, with Ion Aramendi

17:55-19:00h – El diario de Jorge, with Jorge Javier Vázquez

19:00-20:00h – Rueda la letra, with Carlos Sobera

20:00-21:00h – ¡Allá tú!, with Juanra Bonet

With this announcement, Telecinco confirms the return of El diario de Jorge and sets a time slot for Rueda la letra, the quiz show with Carlos Sobera that includes El rosco (although without being able to call it that) after a complex legal framework allowed Mediaset to take the classic test away from Atresmedia. This premiere will air one hour before Pasapalabra on Antena 3, which now has a different final test, so both quiz shows will not coincide on screen. The 20:00 to 21:00 slot, dominated by Roberto Leal’s show, will continue to be occupied on Telecinco by ¡Allá tú!, which usually records the best ratings on the network in the afternoon slot.

Once again, Unicorn Content and Ana Rosa Quintana dominate Telecinco’s schedule. Besides their presence in the afternoon with El verano se mueve, which Mediaset will rename if it remains on air in the coming months, they control all the morning programs, with up to four magazines in total.

Initially, Telecinco’s morning broadcast from Monday will be as follows:

08:00-09:00h – La mirada crítica, with Ana Terradillos

09:00-12:00h – El programa de Ana Rosa, with Ana Rosa Quintana

12:00-15:00h – Vamos a ver, with Patricia Pardo

The fourth of them, El tiempo justo, will return to Telecinco’s weekday schedule after Joaquín Prat’s paternity leave ends, joining the morning slot at a time yet to be determined, the channel announced this Wednesday.

Meanwhile, El precio justo, also with Carlos Sobera, will continue airing new episodes on Saturdays and Sundays in the early afternoon, starting at 13:30, a slot where Telecinco has struggled to find its place after the cancellation of Socialité, Vaya fama and Visto lo visto.
