Much wear and little accuracy between Real and Celta

Real Sociedad and Celta de Vigo drew goalless (0-0) in a match marked by the lack of accuracy from both teams. Shortly after, in the 20th minute, Óskarsson collected the ball facing a disorganized Vigo defense. The Icelandic forward passed it to Oyarzabal, who connected a powerful shot that the Romanian goalkeeper saved. On the rebound, with the goal unguarded, Take Kubo volleyed a shot over the crossbar. After the first half hour of play, Yangel Herrera warned with a left-footed shot from outside the area that Radu had to stretch to send the ball to a corner.

In the 40th minute, Moriba received the ball at the edge of the area and, after feinting once, fired a left-footed shot that went far from the goal defended by Remiro. In the 77th minute, Álvaro Núñez lost the ball inside the area against Oyarzabal and the Celta fullback held the Basque captain. However, the referee did not award a penalty, considering the contact insufficient. With ten minutes left in the match, Remiro saved the home team by stopping a centered shot from Aspas from the penalty spot.

In the 87th minute, Guedes received the ball on the right side and dribbled twice to shake off his opponents, but his cross shot went just past a post.
