The endless climb of La Pandera crowned Marco Brenner in stage 14 of the Vuelta a España after a final sprint with Santiago Buitrago. The Colombian launched himself with one kilometer to go and when it seemed he was escaping solo leaving behind Buitrago, Cristian Rodríguez, and Sosa, the German cyclist went after him and managed to overtake him in the last meters. In the group of leaders, Enric Mas knew how to wait for the moment while enduring some pulls from Richard Carapaz and ended up extending his advantage over Primoz Roglic. The Spaniard leaves the Slovenian 2m11s behind.
