Police have found the body of Jesús Tavira, the businessman from Alicante who disappeared on March 18, in a concrete-covered hole at the home of one of his workers, as reported by several local media outlets and confirmed by EL PAÍS with police sources. The main suspect in the crime is a mechanic who worked at the vehicle dealership the businessman owned in Alicante. The body, found on Tuesday, was buried at the home of the mechanic and his wife in the Alicante district of El Bacarot, both of whom have been arrested along with another man. Tavira was one of the most talked-about witnesses in the case of the murdered widow of the former president of Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo (CAM), which remains unresolved ten years later.
