Ana Guerra, Edu Aguirre, Juls Janeiro and Marta Pombo are already recording the new Antena 3 celebrity contest: ‘The Yellow Box’

Antena 3 has already started filming The Yellow Box, in which 12 celebrities will have to face challenges they do not know in advance. Juls Janeiro, Marta Pombo, Adrián Lastra, Norma Duval, Colate Vallejo-Nágera, Tamara Gorro, Ana Guerra, Edu Aguirre, Eduardo Navarrete, Gemma Mengual, Ricky Merino, and Miguel Lago are the participants of this contest presented by Manel Fuentes, the network reported this Wednesday in a statement.

This production by Atresmedia in collaboration with Fremantle Spain is an adaptation of the Norwegian program The Box, the format launched in 2025 that has the most adaptations worldwide. It is a weekly elimination contest that combines risk, adventure, and strategy.

Locked inside huge yellow boxes, the participants will neither know where they are headed nor what awaits them. In each episode of the program, when the doors open, they find themselves in the middle of a completely unexpected challenge that they must understand and solve without prior instructions, clues, or context. They all live together in a fixed base where alliances and rivalries are forged.

Each episode features two tests (one individual and one group) and a final duel. In each episode, the loser of the final duel leaves the competition. In the final episode, four contestants face the last challenges, and only one will take home the grand prize of 50,000 euros.

Many of the selected faces (Ana Guerra, Adrián Lastra, Eduardo Navarrete) have already appeared on The Challenge, one of Antena 3’s flagship Spanish-created programs presented by Roberto Leal. Others are faces from social media making their television debut, such as Juls Janeiro (daughter of Jesulín de Ubrique, current contestant on Your Face Sounds Familiar) or Marta Pombo.
