Latest political news, live | The PP, close to renewing the absolute majority in the May 17 elections, according to the ‘Andalusian CIS’

The pre-election study by the Andalusian Studies Center (Centra), published this Tuesday, gives a clear victory to Juan Manuel Moreno’s PP in the May 17 elections, which could renew its absolute majority set at 55 seats, with between 53 and 56 deputies. María Jesús Montero’s PSOE would come in second place and obtain between 25 and 27 deputies, falling below its electoral floor, the 30 seats from the June 2022 elections. In third place is Vox, which achieves between 17 and 19 seats. The coalition led by Antonio Maíllo, Por Andalucía, would get between 4 and 7 deputies and Adelante Andalucía could obtain 5. The survey comes a day after the first debate. Health, housing, and financing were the main topics that marked the electoral face-to-face held this Monday on RTVE with a view to the Andalusian elections on May 17, in which the five candidates for the presidency of the Junta participated: Juanma Moreno for the PP-A, María Jesús Montero for the PSOE-A, Manuel Gavira for Vox, Antonio Maíllo for Por Andalucía, and José Ignacio García for Adelante Andalucía.
