Bodies of a man and a woman found shot dead in Malaga

The National Police has opened an investigation after finding two people dead from gunshot wounds in the La Palmilla neighborhood, north of the city of Malaga. They are a 56-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman, according to sources close to the case, who explain that the victims were found inside a home. Investigators have been there since early morning to try to clarify what happened.

The 112 Andalusia Emergency service received several calls at 7:40 AM this Friday, reporting that two people had received several gunshots inside an apartment located on Guadalimar street, in the La Palma-Palmilla neighborhood. Health personnel were dispatched to the scene, who could only certify the death of a man and a woman, as confirmed by 112.

Several National Police patrols also arrived at the scene, confirming that the two people had died from gunshot wounds. The homicide group of the Provincial Police Station of Malaga has taken charge of the investigation to clarify what happened.

At the beginning of last May, a 29-year-old man died in the same area of the city after being stabbed in the street. He was seriously injured and was transferred to the Regional Hospital of Malaga, where he eventually lost his life. The case is also being investigated as a homicide. No arrests have been made yet.
