Formula 1 returns once again to the streets of the Principality of Monaco. The legendary street circuit hosts the race this Sunday with Andrea Kimi Antonelli looking to consolidate his World Championship lead, where he is 43 points ahead of his Mercedes teammate, George Russell. The Italian driver will try to make a good start to lead a race where overtaking is almost impossible and where strategy and speed from the garage are crucial to win or not lose positions. Behind them, Lewis Hamilton (third) and Leclerc (fourth) are lurking. Max Verstappen, who started from second position, had to retire due to a car failure. The same happened to Lando Norris, last year’s world champion. A problem with his car’s battery forced him to retire. With 18 laps to go, Stroll went into the wall and the Safety Car had to come out onto the track. Alonso starts from 21st position and Sainz from 12th place.
