David Sánchez, brother of the Prime Minister, was sentenced this Tuesday by the Provincial Court of Badajoz to nine years of disqualification for administrative misconduct.

The political reactions have not been long in coming. The PSOE calls the sentence “outrageous,” while Esther Muñoz, spokesperson for the PP, argues that a ruling of this kind “would bring down a government in any country.”
