Tech giant Microsoft announced this Wednesday a net profit of 133.749 billion dollars (116.801 billion euros) at the close of its fiscal year 2026, 31% more than a year earlier, driven in part by its Azure cloud platform.

The company had total revenue of 331.839 billion dollars (289.790 billion euros) in the twelve months ended June 30, an 18% increase, according to a statement issued by the company after the market closed on Wall Street.
Specifically, Azure’s revenue exceeded 100 billion dollars (87.328 billion euros) for the first time, and Microsoft 365 Copilot, the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) assistant, reached more than 30 million paid licenses.
Microsoft’s top executive, Satya Nadella, pointed out that these figures reflect “the trust that customers place in the tech company to drive their transformation towards AI.”

He added: “We are expanding the limits of the cost-result curve, ensuring that every customer can turn ‘tokens’ into business outcomes,” he added.
In the last quarter, from April to June and the focus of investors, Microsoft earned 35.766 billion dollars (31.233 billion euros), which was 31% more year-on-year; and had revenues of 90.007 billion (78.595 billion euros), an 18% increase).
