The models I analyzed are available on Amazon and their price does not exceed 20 euros. I tested each one over several days, not only with my personal phone but also with my partner’s and a couple of friends’ phones, to check compatibility and performance with different smartphones.
The aspects I evaluated in each analysis were the following:
- Build quality: the type of materials, the feel, and the durability they convey.
- Design and handling: I checked if the mechanism to open and close is practical, if placing and removing the phone is easy, and what range of rotation it offers to adjust the angle.
- Remote control: if the Bluetooth pairing is quick and stable or if, on the contrary, it presents connection failures.
- Daily use: do they fulfill what they promise? Do they provide good stability when taking photos or making videos?

Why we chose it: from the manufacturing quality point of view, it is one of the models I liked the most as it conveys solidity and good finish. That said, I also noticed it tends to trap dust easily, so it is advisable to wipe it occasionally to keep it clean. On the other hand, it has the advantage of extending its seven telescopic sections up to 114 cm, a length that surpasses most of its competitors. However, this extension means lateral flex is noticeable: it happens on cobbled floors because on stable and smooth surfaces the firmness is more than enough.
The other appeal is that it comes with two LED lights that provide three tones —warm, neutral, and cool— to adjust the lighting according to the environment and the type of photo or video you are going to make. This extra makes a difference when recording at night, making video calls, or seeking a more flattering effect in selfies. The control to switch between modes is simple, and although it does not replace a professional ring light, it does its job well if you want to improve the image appearance without carrying more accessories.
With a remote control that generally fulfills its purpose, the phone holder, 360° rotating and 180° tilting, adapts easily to most situations.
Its weak points: the modules that add the complementary LED lighting are powered by a battery that needs recharging and its autonomy is short. I would have preferred a battery system.

Who it is for: users looking for an affordable selfie stick with a tripod that offers good results, although it does not include fill light.
Why we chose it: although all options in the comparison are affordable, this selfie stick with tripod is one of the most interesting purchases for under 10 euros. The version I tested does not include LED lighting, but this does not prevent it from performing well in aspects such as stability, design, and ease of use.
Its telescopic body unfolds with a precise and smooth movement, and maintains sufficient rigidity even when almost fully extended. Meanwhile, the phone holder holds firmly: it uses a solid clamping mechanism that prevents unwanted movement, even when switching from horizontal to vertical format or vice versa. During tests, I could orient the head without any problem to find the framing I wanted, especially when taking selfies.
I also had no difficulty pairing the Bluetooth remote control and in most cases it responded immediately to the trigger; that said, it feels too plastic, but you get used to it. If you want to use it as a tripod you can do so without worrying about the base destabilizing on firm surfaces.
Its weak points: nothing important to note.
3- Selfie stick with 6 color temperature options: Qirita C01S
Who it is for: especially to consider if you plan to record or take photos both during the day and in low light conditions
Why we chose it: there are two versions of this model: a ‘normal’ one and another that includes a fill LED light, which is the one I tested. This light comes in a detachable module and offers six brightness levels distributed in three different tones (warm, white, and natural), rechargeable via USB. In my tests, especially recording at night, I was impressed by how it helped soften shadows and better define faces without the image losing too much naturalness.
Like the others, it feels light and folded takes up little space. Meanwhile, its telescopic design includes seven sections that allow extending it to approximately 107 cm: in this case, I gave up trying to place it on a slightly uneven surface, because even being smooth I had some problems stabilizing the tripod.

Regarding its design, at first glance it conveys solidity: aluminum body, well-assembled ABS plastic details, and literally padded coating in the area where you place the mobile phone.
Its weak points: the handle grip is the least comfortable of all and I had some difficulty fitting and rotating the phone and the selfie stick support head that allows about 225° tilt. The tilt rotation is not perfectly smooth and may require readjustment after several consecutive angles.

Who it is for: it is an interesting alternative if you prioritize functionality over finish quality, as it offers a satisfactory overall experience.
Why we chose it: a notable feature is that it includes an LED or ‘fill light’. Specifically, it is possible to choose between three light tones (warm, natural, and white) that in low light conditions get you out of more than one tight spot.
As with the others, from the first moment I was struck by its slender profile and the feel of the handle, which allows a firm grip. Meanwhile, the clip for the mobile phone —a key piece in the experience— generally fulfills its clamping function.
The Bluetooth remote control is integrated into the handle itself and works as a multifunction button that is hard to lose, as it is fixed by a magnet. You only need to slightly remove it to trigger the camera remotely. In my outdoor tests, the real range was about ten meters without signal cuts except a couple of times, more than enough to take group selfies or record yourself from different positions. As expected, the tripod unfolds without difficulties. On smooth surfaces I had no problem, but, for example, on somewhat uneven tiles it was enough for someone to brush it for one of the legs to lose firmness and the whole set to wobble.
Its weak points: some finish details could be improved. Also, if your phone is somewhat thick and you carry a bulky case, it is better to remove it. When fully extended, the clamp holding the phone tends to open slightly, causing the phone to move a bit and the image to shake when moving the stick.
