The minister explains in a long message that “the migrant population arriving in the context of the humanitarian crisis and the Ceutan population do not coexist” in the same spaces and that “brief interactions” between them do not pose a danger. Of the three chickenpox cases, one was ruled out and the other two are pending diagnosis, but they are not related to the migrants.
Regarding the scabies cases, García reminds Feijóo that their detection and control is being handled by the regional government.
