The Government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso acknowledged this Wednesday that the president or someone from her team visited before the purchase the penthouse that Planifica Madrid, a public company of the regional Government, acquired in April for 6.3 million euros. The Minister of the Presidency, Miguel Ángel García Martín, at one point during the press conference following the Government Council, faced the question of whether the president or any of her collaborators personally examined the property located at number 35 General Martínez Campos street. “Obviously,” García Martín responded, who at that moment had the opportunity to deny that the president knew the penthouse.
Ayuso’s circle also does not clarify that issue. “You don’t buy blindly. How could you not go to visit?” they insist, but they do not reveal whether Ayuso herself did or did not.
