According to the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC), the magistrate, in agreement with the prosecutor, has ordered the release of the three detainees, who have been placed under investigation for crimes of disorder, assault on authority, and minor injuries.
The Fossar, in the Born neighborhood of Barcelona, was the scene yesterday of moments of tension and police charges due to the call by organizations linked to the CUP against the presence of Aliança Catalana in one of the emblematic places commemorating the siege of the Catalan capital in 1714 during the War of Succession.

Thus, a group of people who had gathered outside the area tried to break the police cordon established by the Mossos to prevent clashes between the two opposing groups, so the officers intervened to prevent these protesters from crossing the police line.
This action ended with three detainees, who have been brought before the court today. In these incidents, thirteen officers from the Mobile Brigade Riot Control groups (BRIMO) suffered minor injuries.
