The Vuelta a España 2026 concludes its 81st edition this Sunday, September 13, in Granada with an urban route of 112 kilometers through the Nasrid streets and under the gaze of the Alhambra.

Unlike the usual rides through Madrid, the race ends in Andalusian lands with a festive day, ideal for sprinters and to honor the bearer of the maillot rojo, who will presumably be Enric Mas and who will return glory to Spain in the Vuelta 12 years later, when Alberto Contador won. The overall classification champion will receive a commemorative trophy and a prize of €150,000.

Schedule of stage 21 of the Vuelta a España in Granada
The last stage has an afternoon schedule:
- Start time: The neutral start from the Carrefour in Granada is set for 16:20 – 16:23 hours.
- Finish time: The passage through the final finish line is expected between 19:05 and 19:15 hours, depending on the peloton’s average pace.
- Trophy presentation: The final podium and coronation protocol will take place from 19:20 hours.
