‘El tiempo justo’, by Joaquín Prat, is dropped from Telecinco’s summer lineup and will be replaced by a “traveling show” with Ion Aramendi

Almost a month ago, Telecinco presented the new additions to its schedule for this summer, a small earthquake that included many changes in the afternoons and weekends. One of the few shows that remained in the weekday afternoon programming within that announced plan was El tiempo justo, the magazine show hosted by Joaquín Prat, which in summer was going to have its airtime reduced to make room for Amor o lo que surja, a dating show conducted by Carlos Lozano. Another new addition will be De lunes a viernes, an extension of De viernes with Santi Acosta and Beatriz Archidona, which will replace El diario de Jorge during the vacation of its host, Jorge Javier Vázquez.

However, this Tuesday Mediaset surprised by announcing a new move for Telecinco’s summer afternoons: El tiempo justo will not be part of this programming. Its place will be taken by El verano se mueve, a “traveling program,” as the network itself defines it, which will be hosted by Ion Aramendi. Although the content of the new show has not been detailed, the audiovisual group describes it as a magazine show and announces that one of the episodes each week will be broadcast from a different point in the Spanish geography, to which Ion Aramendi himself and his team of collaborators will travel. The program will be produced by Telecinco in collaboration with Unicorn Content, the same production company responsible for El tiempo justo.

It has not yet been announced when these changes will begin in Telecinco’s programming and it seems that a few weeks are still missing to see them on screen. For now, the weekday broadcast plan in this new afternoon schedule would be as follows: the news will be followed by Amor o lo que surja, after which El verano se mueve will be scheduled; it will be followed by De lunes a viernes and the afternoon will close with the game show Allá tú, which will maintain its summer broadcast and will continue to be the lead-in to the 9:00 PM news.
