This edition of Madrid te enreda proposes a tour of three businesses that have found in social media and limited edition experiences a way to attract the public. The first stop is ODA Aesthetic, with a facial treatment inspired by Korean beauty rituals. The second leads to Melt, a shop in Chamberí that focuses its entire offer on five varieties of brownie.

The itinerary ends at Kore Lab Lagree, where Barriers presents during the Formula 1 week two shakes that relate nutrition, exercise, and skin care. Three different proposals to book an hour and a half of calm, indulge in chocolate, or try a collaboration that will only be available until September 13.
A facial inspired by Korean rituals

The experience begins with a double cleansing. First, the skin is deeply cleaned, then exfoliated, and finally, the pH is balanced. This is the initial phase of Korean Booster Xperience, a treatment at ODA Aesthetic (located at 100 San Bernardo Street) inspired by Korean beauty rituals that, according to the establishment, have already been tried by more than 6,000 people.
The session lasts an hour and a half and combines manual techniques, equipment, and cosmetic products. After cleansing comes what the center calls “cellular awakening,” a phase intended to prepare the tissues and stimulate fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen.
The central part of the treatment includes a facial wood therapy massage. Then an algae mask is applied, which is left on for 20 minutes while the massage continues. It is the perfect experience to gift or indulge in to take care of your skin.
A shop built around the brownie

At Melt (at 10 Cea Bermúdez Street) there is no endless display of pastries. The star is the brownie. The idea was born when Olivia started making cookies at home and selling them to friends and coworkers. One day she was asked to make a brownie. The result was liked, but she thought she could improve it and began trying different adjustments to the recipe.
At that time she worked in an office, a job that, she says, no longer allowed her to express her creativity. Álvaro, her partner, was passionate about specialty coffee, so they both decided that this drink should also be part of the project. When they found the location, they started the business.
The shop, located near the Teatros del Canal, is mainly designed for takeout. Upon entering, the smell of chocolate accompanies a collection of five flavors: Noir, Hazelnut, Pistachio, Matcha, and Macadamia Blondie. The brownies can be purchased individually or in boxes to share or gift.

The proposal seeks to move away from the dry and uniform brownie that can be found in some cafes and bakeries. Melt works with different flavor profiles but maintains a melting and creamy texture as a common element.
Their managers say they receive customers from other cities and countries who had saved the address before traveling to Madrid. Some, they say, make Melt one of their first stops in the capital. The visit can be completed with one of the shows at the nearby Teatros del Canal or with a walk through Isabel II Park.
Two shakes for Formula 1 week

From September 8 to 13, the Kore Lab Lagree studio, located at number 5 Claudio Coello Street, adds to its menu two shakes created in collaboration with the cosmetics brand Barriers. The initiative coincides with Formula 1 week in Madrid and brings together exercise, nutrition, and skin care in one space.
The first, Green Active, combines spinach, pineapple, vanilla protein, spirulina, and coconut milk. The second, Inner Strength, is made with banana, pure cocoa, an espresso, chocolate protein, and coconut milk.
Both include FF-Symbiotic Powder, a preparation composed of daikon radish sprout powder and broccoli, as well as lion’s mane. These are the same ingredients grown on a vertical farm located in the center of Barcelona and linked to the active ingredient that Barriers uses in its cosmetic products, according to the brand.
The collaboration transfers to the glass a common idea in the beauty sector: relating skin care with nutrition, wellness, and lifestyle. During the days the initiative lasts, those who buy one of the shakes will receive samples of a Barriers day facial cream.
It is the plan most conditioned by the calendar, as the shakes will only be available until September 13. It is also the one most linked to a specific event, in a week in which various Madrid businesses join the activities organized around Formula 1.
