The Primitiva game
To participate in the Primitiva draw, you can choose simple bets or multiple bets. In simple bets, six numbers must be selected, from 1 to 49 on a ticket, which can be done physically or on the State Lotteries and Betting website.

If you opt for multiple bets, there is no maximum number of numbers that can be selected and you can also play physically or online.
All prize categories
- Special Category: Match the six winning numbers plus the refund. The jackpot can exceed 10 million euros, depending on the accumulated amount.
- First Category: Six matches. The prize is around one million euros.
- Second Category: Five matches plus the complementary number. Prizes of about 40,000 euros.
- Third Category: Five matches. Approximately 1,500 euros.
- Fourth Category: Four matches. Around 50 euros.
- Fifth Category: Three matches. Fixed prize of 8 euros.
- Refund: Match the refund number. The amount played is returned, usually 1 euro.
Schedule and where to watch the draw
The Primitiva draws are held on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays starting at 9:40 PM. Once the draw is finished, the results can be checked on the official State Lotteries and Betting website or on the EL PAÍS website.
