The hotel Casa de las Artes Meliá Collection, located in the historic Barrio de las Letras of Madrid, has just added a monthly book club to its cultural agenda. The meetings will take place in the hotel’s library, a space designed to invite you to stay: custom wooden shelves, soft lighting, and sofas you don’t want to leave. Each monthly session promises to be a forum for dialogue around books and authors that have the city as a common thread.
The next session will be held on September 17th, at 7:00 PM and will revolve around Such a Fun Age by Hanya Yanagihara, an international publishing phenomenon.

The initiative is part of the hotel’s cultural program, which since its opening has aimed to become a meeting point between the legacy of the Golden Age and the creative voices of the present. At a time when book clubs are experiencing a notable boom—a social as well as literary phenomenon—Casa de las Artes finds in books a natural extension of its identity.
