After Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn) witnesses the murder of Florida’s best problem solver, an ambitious state prosecutor puts him to work alongside a meticulous forensic accountant to solve the crime. Determined to get his detective badge back, Yancy becomes embroiled in a territorial war between rival criminal organizations while encountering a colorful gallery of Florida characters, including a cult mafia boss, his unbalanced son, and a strong-willed young woman who needs Yancy’s protection. At the same time, Yancy will have to deal with his aging father; unresolved romantic tension with Dr. Rosa Campesino, who starts her own investigation into a mysterious rash; and an eccentric animal relocation specialist whose business threatens the local ecosystem.

The second season again features Vince Vaughn, Natalie Martinez, Charlotte Lawrence, and John Ortiz, joined by John Malkovich, Yvonne Strahovski, and Zavior Phillips. Bill Lawrence is the series creator and also serves as executive producer.
