Artist Dani Fernández has suffered a torn shoulder ligament and will undergo surgery after a fall this Saturday night during his second concert in Valencia, at the Roig Arena. This is how the singer himself explains it, in a video published on his social media, in which he details that after the fall he had to go to the hospital. There, they confirmed that he had suffered a torn ligament in his right shoulder and that he had to undergo emergency surgery this very Sunday.
After the incident, Dani Fernández was attended to by the medical team present at Roig Arena, which caused the performance to be interrupted for about 20 minutes. Afterwards, the singer returned to the stage with his shoulder bandaged and held in a sling. He thus managed to finish the concert and, subsequently, was transferred to a hospital.
“We don’t know what the recovery will be like, but it could have been worse; I’m fine,” says the artist, while also thanking “all the people and the entire medical team” who have been with him. “It could have been a better night,” he jokes. That said, he comments that he was talking to the doctor about “being back as soon as possible,” in reference to the remaining concerts of the singer’s tour.

Also via social media, the official Roig Arena account shared an image of the singer, bandaged and in a sling, while performing. “Thank you, Dani Fernández, for giving your all to finish the concert. You are AMAZING! At Roig Arena, we await you with open arms. Valencia will never forget this night. Get well soon,” the organization thanks.
The general director of Roig Arena, Víctor Sendra, emphasizes to Europa Press that Dani Fernández “demonstrated last night what a great professional he is, showing an admirable attitude by wanting to finish the concert in a difficult situation.” “Now the important thing is that he recovers quickly, and we wish him that,” he wishes and adds: “We want to be able to have him back at the venue soon; he is an artist who has reached the hearts of the Valencian public even more. Last night’s concert was unique, unforgettable, and has already left its mark on the history of Roig Arena.” According to him, “from Roig Arena, we provided and continue to provide all means and services for Dani Fernández, his team, and his family,” Sendra points out.
