The Ayuso Government puts the Chamberí penthouse up for sale for 6.7 million, almost 400,000 more than it paid

The public company Planifica Madrid formalized this Friday the sale of the luxury penthouse of 485 square meters on General Martínez Campos Avenue (Chamberí), which the Government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso (PP) acquired last April for 6.3 million euros with the argument of temporarily using it as offices during the works of the Royal Post Office. The property is now up for tender for 6.69 million euros, excluding taxes, according to the announcement signed by the CEO of the public company, Pedro Corbalán Ruiz, and published on the contracting portal. The public company is also liquidating the four properties on Gran Vía for a total amount of 11.8 million euros, and the decision comes after the controversy generated by the purchase and after the regional government announced that it would sell these properties to help rebuild the areas affected by the fires in the Sierra Oeste.
