US President Donald Trump called on his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on Tuesday to end military actions and reach a definitive settlement to the conflict in Ukraine during his current presidential term, according to the Kremlin, in the context of a phone conversation.
Putin and Trump focused their hour-long conversation on the negotiations held over the weekend by White House envoys in Moscow and Kiev, explained Yuri Ushakov, Kremlin foreign policy advisor, in a telephone press conference.
