Which swimming goggles did we choose and how did we test them?
During our search for swimming goggles for this comparison, we found that, at least the models from the most well-known brands, are identical in terms of lens protection and treatments, as well as the material of their structure. Therefore, we were guided by both brands and Amazon customer ratings when making the final selection, which includes four designs: Speedo, AqtivAqua, Zionor, and Arena.
To test these swimming goggles, we started by checking if each model included any type of case or protective cover, to assess their usefulness for transporting them without damage. The Speedo Biofuse 2.0 swimming goggles provide great performance for non-competitive swimmers. In general, I found them suitable for most training sessions, as they do not allow water entry when properly fitted, and they are comfortable once worn. Additionally, unlike other models in the comparison, their adjustment system is very simple and their materials gave me the impression of being durable.
Especially notable is their UV protection filter, which prevents direct sunlight or its reflections on the water from dazzling or damaging the eyes. Undoubtedly, this is a significant advantage for summer use and outdoor pools. But, for swimming in winter, when water heat produces more vapor, their anti-fog treatment is also especially effective, so good visibility is maintained at all times.
The downside is that the lenses of these goggles are mirrored. This means they offer excellent performance outdoors and in intense sunlight, but indoors they darken too much and do not provide clear vision. I also did not like that they do not include any type of case or protection, making them more prone to bumps or scratches when carried in a backpack.

In practice, the AqtivAqua swimming goggles stand out for their great versatility thanks to their photochromic lenses, which adapt to different light conditions. They are comfortable, durable, and have a very effective anti-fog, as well as including a case, although their overall performance is slightly behind more complete options.
Are they efficient in the water?
As with practically all models in the comparison, the adult AqtivAqua swimming goggles offer perfect watertightness, with no possibility of water entering either eye, as long as they are tightened properly. Also, during testing I was able to verify that the anti-fog system on the lenses is very effective, as vision was not obstructed by water vapor. The best part is that they have a photochromic treatment that lightens in low light, such as indoor pools, and darkens when exposed to more sunlight.
The lenses also seemed very resistant to accidental scratches, so their durability is guaranteed. I also did not notice the straps or silicone seals losing elasticity with use; this makes me think all their materials are of good quality. All elements, from the straps to the nose bridge, were very comfortable, so I could train with these goggles without any discomfort.
These swimming goggles include a sturdy case to transport them well protected and without risk of wetting other items inside a backpack. Overall, I find them the most suitable option for swimmers in indoor places or open sea. It should be noted that they have UV protection, so they are safe for the sunniest days.

The Zionor G1 swimming goggles convince with their good ergonomics and the feeling of resistance of their lenses, with an anti-fog that works properly. They are clearly aimed at outdoor swimming, where they perform better, although their mirrored lenses penalize indoor visibility and limit their versatility.

Are they efficient in the water?
What I liked most about the Zionor G1 swimming goggles is that, like the winning model of this comparison, their lenses gave me the impression of being very durable. They do not include a rigid case, but they do have a soft cover that at least helps avoid accidental scratches when carrying them in a backpack. Also, their anti-fog protection works adequately and they seemed very ergonomic once worn.
On the other hand, I think the fact that their lenses are mirrored harms their use indoors. This design is more intended to help have better vision outdoors and in open waters; in this regard, they offer notable performance, although they lose clarity when there is no intense light. Still, they gave me the impression of being designed for serious swimmers who usually train outdoors.

The starting point of the Arena The One swimming goggles is correct in essentials: good watertightness and sufficient comfort for recreational use. However, their less practical fit, lenses with less visual precision, and lack of case make them a functional option, but clearly behind the rest.
Are they efficient in the water?
When it comes to protecting the eyes from water, there is nothing to reproach the Arena The One swimming goggles. As long as they were well fitted, I had no problems with possible water leaks. Also, although they are not the most ergonomic model in the comparison, they are comfortable enough for recreational swimming, that is, non-competitive training.
But there are two big reasons why I do not recommend these goggles for more advanced swimmers. First, because they incorporate semi-dark tinted lenses that, while working adequately for both indoor and outdoor use, do change natural tones, so the type of vision they offer is not precise. Also, their adjustment system seemed the least practical of all models in this comparison. Added to this is that they do not include any type of case or cover, so if not stored properly, they risk wearing out quickly.
