Extraordinary Red Cross Draw of the National Lottery

This Saturday, June 6, the National Lottery’s Red Cross Extraordinary Draw is held, as it has been for 102 years. As on previous occasions, it can be followed from the Draws Hall of State Lotteries and Betting.

Being an extraordinary draw, the prizes are of a higher amount than the usual Saturday regular draw, distributing a first prize of 150,000 euros per ticket, instead of the usual 60,000.

Another distinction of this draw is what the money raised is used for: social causes promoted by the Red Cross. In 2023, this NGO assisted nearly 3 million people in Spain, and approximately 1 million of those services were financed thanks to funds from the National Lottery.

All prizes

Main prizes:

– First prize: 1,500,000 euros per series, 150,000 euros per ticket

– Second prize: 300,000 euros per series, 30,000 euros per ticket

– Third prize: 150,000 euros per series, 15,000 euros per ticket

Secondary prizes:

– Twelve Prizes for five digits: 75,000 euros per series, 7,500 euros per ticket

– Prizes for the last four digits: 3,750 euros per series, 375 euros per ticket

– Prizes for the last three digits: 750 euros per series, 75 euros per ticket

– Prizes for the last two digits: 300 euros per series, 30 euros per ticket

– Refunds: 150 euros per series, 15 euros per ticket

To play the National Lottery, you must buy a ‘décimo’, which is the same as a minimum fraction of a lottery ticket. Each ‘décimo’ has a specific number and must match the winning number to obtain the prize. In this extraordinary draw, the price is 15 euros.

Depending on the matching numbers and extractions, the prize amount will vary between one of the main or secondary prizes.

How to collect a ticket?

If the winning ticket is less than 3,000 euros, you can collect it at any official point of sale. For larger prizes, you will have to go to one of the collaborating banks. And if you bought it online, the money will be deposited directly into your account.
