For months, the wedding, the possible wedding, the supposed wedding, between Zendaya and Tom Holland has been making headlines. Never confirmed by the actors, who throughout this summer have made numerous public appearances together for the promotion of Spider-Man and The Odyssey, it seems that the secret ceremony did indeed take place a few months ago. What was known is that, due to their schedules and commitments, they had not yet celebrated it with friends and family. Until now. Because it has now been confirmed that the couple has had the big party for their wedding.
Again, they have not announced it. They have always been somewhere in the middle in their romance: not hiding it, but also not giving personal details. But the sharp British press has been connecting the dots and has discovered that, indeed, Zendaya (Oakland, California, 29 years old) and Holland (Kingston-upon-Thames, 30 years old) have gotten married (again) in the United Kingdom. This is also confirmed by People magazine, which states that the celebration took place on Tuesday at the Beaverbrook Hotel in Surrey, in the English countryside, an hour and a half from central London, which they rented just for themselves.
The American publication assures that the party took place some time after the wedding and the date this Tuesday, August 4; in fact, this very Thursday both were photographed in the British capital wearing wedding rings, for the first time. Also, the British newspaper Daily Mail, which initially placed it in June — the couple was in London at the end of that month for the promotion of Spider-Man: Brand New Day (for whose premiere they returned to the city at the end of July), and was also there in early July for The Odyssey — now also points to the wedding being held on Tuesday. Also the chosen location, being barely 20 kilometers from Kingston-upon-Thames, Holland’s hometown.
The Beaverbrook Hotel is a luxurious establishment with a large estate and well-kept gardens, well known in the area. According to the Daily Mail — which has published details citing sources from the accommodation, although only confirmed by them — both guests and staff were not allowed to use their mobile phones during the event. Always according to the British tabloid, the cost of the celebration would have exceeded half a million pounds (about 584,000 euros). For now, in any case, the couple has not confirmed the wedding or the party, nor has anyone from their circle done so directly. There have also been no photos of the ceremony, and it does not seem likely that there will be any in the near future, given the care with which they have managed everything related to their romantic relationship over the last five years.
The acting couple has been dating for more than five years; their relationship became public in mid-2021. In January 2025, during the Golden Globes red carpet in Los Angeles, Zendaya wore a large ring that looked like an engagement ring, and it was, as was confirmed hours later. However, it was never known when the wedding would be, until early March when the actress’s high-profile stylist, Law Roach, was asked about the date: “The wedding has already happened. You missed it,” he replied. Since then, all eyes were on them, and at the Oscars in mid-March, Zendaya wore a wedding band.
The confirmation, if it can be taken as such, has been subtle. During an interview with Esquire, Holland was told about some supposed AI-generated wedding photos where they were seen with champagne at Lake Como, Italy, which had garnered millions of likes on social media. The actor commented that when his grandmother saw them, she thought she had not been invited. When asked if he had to send messages to other family members to explain it, he replied: “No, because they were all there.” When asked for more details or when it was, he kindly answered: “That’s all you’ll get about that.”
