The Island of Temptations never stops and is already ready to fill Telecinco’s schedule for the third time this year. The eleventh edition of the reality show about troubled couples will return on Monday, September 7 to the Mediaset channel, determined, along with Survivors, to save the channel from its disastrous audience streak, occupying two nights of its prime time (the other will be Wednesdays) with new duos and temptresses.

The most striking thing about this edition is that it will include Nacho de Borbón among its contestants. The model and distant cousin of King Felipe VI (he descends from the line of Francisco de Paula and holds no title) already reached the final in Survivors 2022, and now he will attend with his partner of two years, Náyades Lospitao, to test their love in front of the cameras. Telecinco reports that they met at an influencers event, and now they are considering moving in together. Borbón’s previous relationship was also with Paula Colubi, a temptress from the seventh edition.

The other four couples include Kico and Paula, who have been together for a year and want to prove they can be faithful and trust each other after several relapses; Sergio and Paola, who come from a two-year long-distance relationship; Rubén and Gema, who, after three and a half years, also come from an infidelity on his part (discovered in a list of women he slept with), and Nando and Isa, who have been together for eight years, since they met at a communion at the institute. The first statements from the latter are: “Since I have been with Isa for eight years, I have cheated on her about 15 times.” Despite these histories, they will all try not to fall into temptation and to sound the alarm.
The Island of Temptations, hosted by Sandra Barneda, premiered in Spain in 2020 and has already aired 10 regular installments plus another with previous participants, called The Last Temptation. In total, 11 editions in seven years. With a 12.4% share and just over a million viewers, the last edition between April and June, which aired up to three nights, was the least watched edition of the format, although more than four points above the share that Telecinco has marked in recent months.
