The White House has turned its agenda into a video game. The Donald Trump administration launched Arcade.gov on Thursday, a website with five retro-style titles that recreate, using mechanics from classics like Tetris, Snake, or Flappy Bird, some of its most notable policies: the border wall, mass deportations, or new child savings plans.

In Build the Wall, inspired by Tetris, the player must build a wall to “protect the border from the approaching horde,” according to the official description. In Rio Run, a version of Snake, the user patrols the Rio Grande and stops those trying to cross. Each capture counts as a deportation at the end of the game.

The other three games expand the thematic catalog, with new models pending. Supply Line, based on the classic Tapper, asks players to remove from a supply chain the foods that do not meet the criteria of “Make America Healthy Again,” the health initiative promoted by Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Flappy Bill has a bald eagle flying over the National Mall, and Trump Savings Tycoon turns the new savings account program that provides $1,000 to children born during Trump’s second term into a game.
The White House introduced the initiative on social media with animations mimicking the loading screens of PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo, under the slogan “Can’t stop winning.” In one of the promotional videos, the logo of the defunct Sega Arcade transforms into the acronym MAGA (Make America Great Again), the ultra-conservative movement that propelled Trump to the White House.

The goal, according to a spokesperson who spoke to the conservative Fox News network, is to “tell the story” of Trump’s achievements “in a way that connects with all Americans.” The same official went further and presented the launch as a contrast to the Democratic opposition, which he described as a “dark socialist vision,” against what he called “a culture of fun and victory.”
