A bus accident has left several dead and injured in the alpine village of Susch, in eastern Switzerland, according to the Graubünden cantonal police in a post on X.

On the vehicle, a tourist bus, there were 48 passengers, according to a spokesperson for the Dutch General Association of Travel Companies, who spoke as a spokesperson for the tour operator OAD. “These are Dutch OAD customers. We still cannot specify how many people have died or been injured,” she told the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
The images that the local press has shared on social media show several ambulances and emergency teams trying to assist the tourist bus, which appears to have overturned after leaving the road.
