‘Survivors All Stars’ 2026: Now with real celebrities!

‘Survivors All Stars’ 2026: Now with real celebrities!

With Telecinco hitting historically low ratings —because now everything is historic, just as incomparable as all the frameworks— the arrival of each new Supervivientes All Stars brings new hope (like Episode IV of Star Wars) to the channel now for the whole family.

The audience, for unknown reasons, loves the moment when the contestants jump from the helicopter. At Mediaset they wrap it in such epicness that it seems like we are watching The Deer Hunter (the Cimino movie, not the TVE contest). The contestants dedicate the jump to their children, mothers, partners and, above all, to those from their province and, while at it, to all of Spain, because for them an entire country holds its breath watching them peek their heads out of the helicopter. The real merit, as in so many occasions, belongs to the guy filming the performance. Every year there is someone who seems like they won’t jump. This edition was Rosa Benito, although she did not manage to reach the levels of expectation generated by Terelu. Spaniards are fascinated to see celebrities jump into the water, whether from a helicopter or a diving board. Hopefully José María Bermúdez de Castro will one day shed light on this anthropological phenomenon.

The average Spaniard perceives that Supervivientes is broadcast every day of their life, like The Simpsons or Arguiñano’s show. Sometimes the normal one and sometimes the All Stars. In both formats —which are the same— the contestants are supposed to be famous. A citizen who had remained unaware of the existence of the “Sálvame universe” might think of a cast like this: Arturo Pérez-Reverte, Alejandro Amenábar, Lola Índigo, Tamara Falcó, Coral Bistuer, Mariano Barbacid, El Rubius, and a couple of Pombo satellites to fill in. But no. It’s normal that viewers have no idea who most of the characters on the show are, all from the house (as was rumored in the times of the Ruta Quetzal, whose lucky ones were supposedly all children and nephews of Argentaria workers). Without wanting to dwell on past matters, the general feeling is that in the editions of Supervivientes there is one or two prima donnas (Pantoja, Terelu, Rocío Flores, Bigote Arrocet), three quarters of a kilo of temptresses and tronistas, two from the Pantoja clan, another two from the Jurado clan, some athletes, Italians (why?), and lost members of the Bosé family.

In this edition of Supervivientes All Stars surprises were announced on the show, but the incredible thing has been to see that, in 2026, there were real celebrities, from the first stretch of Deluxe. Rosa Benito, Chiqui, Marta Peñate, María Jesús Ruiz, Yola Berrocal, Yulen Pereira and Damián Quintero (the last two for sporting merits). Of the total contestants, we find six celebrities in second or even third degree: Asraf Beno (ex-partner of Isabel Pantoja’s daughter), Ivana Icardi (ex-partner of one from GH), Alma Bollo (daughter of Raquel Bollo and Chiquetete), Omar Sánchez (ex-husband of a niece of Isabel Pantoja), Víctor Janeiro (Jesulín’s brother), and Rosa Benito herself, famous for being Rocío Jurado’s sister-in-law.

The astonishing novelty of this edition is that there are no cans with carbs; this time they intend to starve them or perhaps pay tribute to Ruggero Deodato’s movies by letting the contestants kill each other with nails and teeth. It’s worth remembering that every time there is a hurricane they evacuate them, thus cutting off the only chance for the show to live up to its name. Supervivientes, in any of its incarnations, is nothing more than a Grand Prix with hunger, pecking, and arguments.

The most notable thing about this first show —besides Jorge Javier’s quick wit— has been that someone used the word “gonads” instead of the more colloquial “balls.” Otherwise, as Zahara sang, “I had no doubt that Yola is really cool.” And, regarding survival, one should take a look at the situation of the Garífuna in the Nueva Armenia area, who face restrictions imposed by the authorities all year round, focused on this show that not only does not distribute wealth among the inhabitants of the area but also takes away their chance for a dignified life. And that should not be forgotten.
