A 78-year-old man died this Thursday by drowning at the Gran de Palamós beach (Girona), making it 19 bathers who have died this summer on the Catalan coast. According to the Civil Protection of the Generalitat, the emergency phone 112 received at 9:48 a.m. the notice that a person had felt unwell while swimming and that they had to be taken out of the sea and brought to the sandy area to try to revive them.
