It has been 10 years since Aida Domènech (Badalona, 36 years old), known as Dulceida, and Alba Paul (Barcelona, 38 years old) said “I do” in a wedding broadcast under the hashtag Dulcewedding on social media and held in Cala Morisca, Sitges. The lives of the protagonists, and especially their love story, have not been the same since then. Five years after that wedding, the content creators announced a “break” in their relationship. Although the saying goes “second parts were never good,” they have broken the stereotype. Dulceida and Alba Paul reconciled in 2023, and this Friday, September 11, they are getting married again in a wedding held on the Costa Brava, already mothers to their daughter, Aria.

The so-called “re-wedding” has nothing to do with the one their followers enjoyed through the screen a decade ago by following the guests’ posts with the hashtag —later, a video was even published on Dulceida’s YouTube channel that has nearly eight million views—. Back then, with the world of social media developing, Dulceida was the most important Spanish content creator of the moment and knew how to leverage that influence. This time they preferred their second wedding to be intimate, surrounded only by their family and closest friends. So much so that they did not confirm the wedding date until this very week, once it was leaked to the press and they could no longer keep the secret.
“It will be an intimate ceremony, near the sea, with the people we love the most,” Dulceida revealed on Monday. The event takes place at La Gavina, in S’Agaró, the same hotel where presenter Susanna Griso and Luis Enríquez said “I do” last July 25. An occasion in which the influencer has taken advantage to do business, as in some stories posted yesterday on her Instagram account — with 3.4 million followers — she showed images of the accommodation tagging them as advertising.
Presenter and TV collaborator Nagore Robles, a close friend of the couple, is in charge of officiating the ceremony; in their first wedding, that role was performed by actor and director Javier Calvo and singer Carlos Sadness. Also, Dulceida has already announced that she will wear two different designs, one for the ceremony and another for the subsequent celebration. Both by Pronovias. For now, the brand responsible for Alba Paul’s styling is unknown, who was one of the participants in the latest Supervivientes, finishing as runner-up.
Another detail she has shared is the role her daughter, almost two years old, will have in the ceremony. “Ten years ago our niece gave us the rings and this Friday she will do it again, but this time with her little cousin’s hand, in one of the most beautiful moments of the ceremony. I imagine it and I already cry,” the content creator revealed on her Instagram profile. Although it is an intimate wedding, that does not mean they will not share anything with their followers, participants in every stage of their relationship, both the good and the bad. A love story told on social media
Their paths crossed for the first time at the opening of a gallery in Barcelona where Dulceida worked in 2015. But that first meeting meant nothing to them; Alba even admitted years later that the impression she had of her now wife was not the best. Time brought them together again at different events and parties, until they became inseparable. In September of that same year, the influencer published a video on her channel revealing that she was in a relationship with a girl. From that moment on, Alba became a regular on her partner’s social media, and thousands of users followed their love story excitedly.
A year after making their relationship public, they married in front of 140 guests, becoming one of the first viral weddings in Spain. The marriage broke up in 2021. “We had a year and a half of a lot of pain on both sides,” Alba Paul admitted after resuming their relationship. For her part, Dulceida revealed that, after giving this second chance, she was afraid they would not be able to forgive “certain things that had happened during that time.” “I am a person who believes in all the opportunities a person needs, or in the case that someone has to give you one, that the person is willing to give it to you as long as it is a second chance, a third, a fourth, a fifth… for the better.
