According to Renfe, traffic was suspended shortly before 9 a.m. and has affected, so far, two trains: an Avant Barcelona-Figueres, scheduled to depart at 8:07, and a Barcelona-Lyon (France), scheduled to depart nine minutes later.

The Avant stopped at La Sagrera, where the voltage drop in the catenary occurred, with about thirty passengers. The train bound for the French city had to reverse back to Sants.
