A 45-year-old man died this Sunday after being stabbed during a fight on the terrace of a bar in Valencia. The National Police have arrested a woman accused of homicide, according to the police force.

The events occurred around midnight at an establishment located on dels Jurats street, in the L’Olivereta neighborhood, near the General Hospital. For reasons still under investigation, a fight broke out during which the woman stabbed the man.
A citizen security patrol arrived at the scene at 00:05, after receiving the alert about the assault. The officers later located and arrested the woman, of Spanish nationality, at a residence in the same neighborhood.

The victim, of Peruvian nationality, was taken seriously injured to a hospital, where he died around 1:30. The Homicide group of the Provincial Judicial Police Brigade of Valencia has taken charge of the investigation to clarify the circumstances of the death.
