The Ferrari F12 seized from the broker Víctor de Aldama will be auctioned for 241,613 euros. This has been communicated by the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Courts to Judge Santiago Pedraz, who is investigating the businessman in a case concerning VAT fraud in the hydrocarbons sector at the National Court. In a document, previewed by elDiario and accessed by this newspaper, the department led by Félix Bolaños warns the judge that if no objection is raised within 10 days, it will “initiate the auction procedure” through the Official State Gazette (BOE) portal.

The Ministry details that Aldama’s Ferrari was registered in March 2013 and has had an expired ITV since August 2024. It also recalls that the vehicle is subject to a prohibition on “disposing of, selling, and transferring” it since October 2024 by order of the National Court itself. Authorities seized the vehicle as part of an operation that resulted in 14 arrests and 11 searches of homes and company headquarters in several provinces: including Madrid, Salamanca, and Cáceres. Judge Pedraz attributes to the suspects the crimes of belonging to a criminal organization, money laundering, and offenses against the Public Treasury.
In addition to the broker’s Ferrari F12 ― convicted by the Supreme Court in the mask case in which former minister José Luis Ábalos was also convicted ― the Ministry also wants to put on the market three other cars seized from those investigated in the alleged scheme: all SUVs, Land Rover brand, and of different models with an estimated value of 129,923 euros, 54,886 euros, and 14,553 euros, according to the appraisal carried out by order of the Asset Recovery and Management Office (ORGA), dependent on Justice.
“The vehicles will not be sold for less than 50% of their value for auction purposes,” Justice specifies in the document signed last August 4. However, it points out that if there is no buyer, the value of the vehicles “may be reasonably reduced by up to 15% in each new auction called.”
Last year, the Asset Recovery and Management Office (ORGA), dependent on the Ministry of Justice, recommended to the National Court to sell the 13 vehicles seized in the hydrocarbons case, with a combined approximate value of 635,700 euros. Pedraz agreed, and Aldama filed his complaint before the Criminal Chamber of the National Court. In September 2025, however, the judges rejected his request, considering that the measure “does not infringe or violate” his right to the presumption of innocence.
