Kylie Jenner (Los Angeles, 28 years old), the younger sister of the media-savvy and billionaire Kardashians, has been sued by a former household employee. Angelica Vasquez alleges that she suffered discrimination and a toxic work environment in the businesswoman’s mansion. The plaintiff began working with the founder of Kylie Cosmetics in September 2024 at her residence in Beverly Hills, and, a week later, was relocated to another of her luxurious homes in Hidden Hills, one of Los Angeles’ wealthiest neighborhoods, where she was under the supervision of the head of cleaning, Patsy, and another woman named Elsi. According to the complaint documents accessed by media outlets such as Page Six, People and Los Angeles Times, during her stay at the second residence, Vasquez claims to have been treated “with hostility and exclusion” by these women and accuses Jenner of ignoring her complaints and failing to stop the situation.

Angelica Vasquez filed the lawsuit against Kylie Jenner Inc. and the companies Tri Star Services and Maison Family Services on April 17. She alleges having suffered “severe harassment” from the first day until her last day, almost a year after being hired, in August 2025. Vasquez claims she was assigned “the most difficult and undesirable tasks,” that she was “excluded from the cleaning team,” that she was “publicly humiliated and belittled in front of her co-workers because of her origin and religion” —she is Salvadoran and Catholic— and that she was subjected to “intimidation and degrading treatment,” according to documents obtained by several U.S. media outlets.
“Patsy questioned Vasquez’s presence, forced her to wait with a security guard, and made it clear she was not welcome,” the complaint states. Furthermore, she “constantly received discriminatory and derogatory comments” about her immigration status, which “were intended to humiliate, intimidate, and exert power over her.” They insulted her by saying: “Catholics are horrible people.” The plaintiff also claims that her accent was constantly mocked, that the supervisors snapped their fingers at her while yelling, that they demanded to inspect her phone, and that they forced her to perform tasks that belonged to Patsy and Elsi. And she alleges that the toxic work environment became “violent” when the supervisor threw hangers at her while reprimanding and threatening her.
All these actions caused her “symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety.” And she accuses Kylie Jenner of “failing to take corrective action” and of “dismissing, ignoring, and ridiculing the complaints” that, she says, she presented to the reality TV star in November 2024. But this, she claims, only intensified the harassment, in addition to stating that she suffered a “reduction in hours and loss of wages” after filing the complaints.

The house where Vasquez suffered “a toxic work environment” located in Hidden Hills, Jenner bought it in 2016, at 19 years old, for just over 12 million dollars and it was her main residence for many years. At the end of March, she put it up for sale for 20.25 million dollars. The mansion has eight bedrooms, eight and a half bathrooms, a private cinema, a game room with a bar, an office with a fireplace, a gym, and a massage room.

Vasquez finally requested medical leave in July 2025 and claims she “had no choice but to resign” a month later, because “working conditions had become intolerable.” She is now claiming compensation —the amount of which is unknown— for “emotional distress, punitive damages” and for “unpaid wages, additional payments for meal and rest periods, unreimbursed business expenses, payments for unpaid sick leave, and any other illegally withheld compensation.”
