Sant Jordi is, without a doubt, the most important event of spring in Catalonia and, as is already tradition, Cadena SER takes to the streets of Barcelona with the voices that accompany, every day, more than 450,000 Catalan listeners.

Àngels Barceló will welcome at 8 am from the SER stage located on Casp street, next to the Ràdio Barcelona headquarters. The leading Spanish radio program will share “El Abierto” with listeners who want to occupy, from early on, one of the seats enabled for the public. At ten, Antonio Martínez Asensio will converse with the writer Manuel Vilas who presents Islandia, the novel in which he narrates his breakup with the writer Ana Merino.
Once “don Asensio’s library” closes, at eleven, Marina Fernàndez and the team of the morning show Aquí Catalunya will take the stage alongside Andrea Genovart (winner of the Llibres de Anagrama prize for Consum Preferent), the singer Miqui Puig and the sports journalist Santi Giménez. And there will be no shortage of music: Aquí Catalunya will feature musical performances by Pep Sala, rocker and co-founder of the Catalan group SAU, and by the musician and composer Litus.
At noon, it’s time for Què t’hi jugues! by Sique Rodríguez and Lluís Flaquer, with collaborators Lluís Carreras and Jofre Mateu, who will comment on the result of tonight’s Barça Celta de Vigo match. Singer-songwriter Joan Dausà will join the discussion, also offering a musical performance. The program will also include the presentations of two books: Mi próxima parada by coach and former blaugrana midfielder José Mari Bakero and Mi loca historia del básquet, by Andrés Jiménez, former FCB basketball player.
At two in the afternoon, Joan Bofill, new editor of the Hora 14 news program, will also debut on the Casp stage to report on all the news of the Diada.

And at four, as in recent years, Carles Francino opens his Sant Jordi Window on Casp street. Alongside journalist Emma Vallespinós and poet Benjamín Prado, and with the participation of Marta Jiménez Serrano, author of Oxígeno, one of the most popular books of the year, the writer and bookseller Máximo Huerta, with Mamá esta dormida, and journalist Marc Amorós to list the biggest “fake news” in the literary world.
Toni Martínez and the Todo por la Radio team, Marc Giró, who has just premiered a program on La Sexta, and Sopa de Cabra, celebrating 40 years of history, will also take the stage.
Anna Puigboltas and the El Balcó de SER Catalunya team will close the day with some of their star collaborators: journalist Antoni Bassas, and writers Llucia Ramis, Pol Guasch, or Regina Rodríguez Sirvent. And also with María Belón, who will present her book Kokoro y el mar, alongside filmmaker J. Bayona, for whom she served as a witness for the film Lo Imposible.
