Added to this is that it has a rechargeable battery to use it wirelessly. It is quite light and fits very well in the hand. Besides a USB charger, it comes with five different roller heads—with varying hardness.
Once fully charged—it has a small screen that shows the battery percentage at all times—my colleagues started using it with the finest head. It has two different speeds and, at first, they started it on the first speed. The first impressions were good: it filed well the roughest area of the heel, on the sole, and on the toes themselves.
However, some small calluses remained, as the first two rollers work very gently. Therefore, my colleagues tried the next heads and noticed the difference: with the same force, they can file with greater precision and speed. The one they liked the most was the medium hardness one—at speed 2—since it removes everything without any discomfort.
Another thing we liked quite a bit is that it has an LED light that illuminates the part being filed, so the skin being removed is perfectly visible. Cleaning it is very easy: you can use the cleaning brush that comes in the box or wash it with a little water. What must be said is that the rollers, although effective, seem a bit fragile, and over time they will likely wear out easily.

In practice, it allows adapting the treatment according to the skin type or the hardness to be removed: the lowest speed works well on more delicate areas or even on hand calluses, while the higher levels are more effective on hardened heels or very dry skin. This range of intensities facilitates progressive and quite controlled use.
Another interesting point is that it includes three interchangeable rollers, which expands treatment possibilities according to skin type. During the test, we verified that they could file different areas of the foot easily and without needing to apply too much pressure. The ergonomic handle helps a lot in this regard, as it allows holding the device comfortably even during somewhat longer sessions. 3) Scholl Expert Care electric foot file
Because it works with four AA batteries that need frequent replacement, the Scholl electric file seemed less convenient to me. Certainly, it is effective on heels and the sole in a few minutes, and it incorporates a safety system that locks the head if too much pressure is applied.

How does it work?
The Scholl Expert Care electric foot file works with four AA batteries that come included. To operate it, just press the power button and choose one of the two speeds it has. With a single head, you can file and smooth the area to be treated. An important detail, shared with other models from the brand, is that it has a system that guarantees safe use: if excessive pressure is applied to the skin, the head locks to prevent damage. The device is compatible with all official brand heads.
During the tests, my colleagues started with speed 1 on the heel area, where there are usually more calluses. They were really surprised that, with a few passes, it had removed the main calluses on the heel and smoothed the skin in minutes. With speed 2, they tried to remove other calluses on the sole with the same result: it removed and smoothed them in a few minutes.
The handle of this file can be held with one hand and is very ergonomic, as it does not slip at all. It can be used on dry or wet skin. My colleagues tried both ways and found it more effective on wet skin. The downside is that, because it works with batteries, they need to be replaced frequently if the machine is used a lot.

How does it work?
The main limitation my colleagues detected when testing the ShoRan electric foot file is that it is not water-resistant, which slightly reduces its comfort of use and cleaning compared to other models in the comparison. In practice, this requires using it dry and paying more attention to device maintenance after each session.
Beyond that point, the overall performance was correct. This model includes two differentiated speeds: a low one at 17,000 RPM, designed for more delicate skin, and a high one at 23,000 RPM, designed to work on more marked calluses. During the tests, my colleagues found that the speed change allows adapting the treatment according to the foot area, which helps avoid excessive abrasion on more sensitive skin.
