Didier Deschamps announced this Thursday the list of 26 players called up for the French National Team for next summer’s World Cup. And the big news, even more so for Spanish fans, is the absence of Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

“He comes from a difficult season, in which he played less, mainly due to injuries, but I imagine his disappointment tonight,” said Deschamps, who will complete his last World Cup leading the French team in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. “[Camavinga] is still young [young]. I have decisions to make and a structure to form.”
Among the call-ups are the Madrid players Aurélien Tchouameni and Kylian Mbappé. Also the Barça player Jules Koundé. With that, here is the list of 26 footballers announced by Deschamps:
