The Deputy Director of Performing Arts of the Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC) of the Generalitat, María José Hernández Mora, announced this Thursday that she voluntarily withdraws her participation in the selective process opened in this body to access a permanent position as a culture technician.
In the statement about her decision to withdraw her candidacy from the selective process corresponding to positions 268 and 276, cultural management technician for the Institut Valencià de Cultura, she states: “I want to express with total clarity that this decision does not respond to the existence of any incompatibility or irregularity. My participation in this process was fully legitimate and complied with current legality.”

“In recent weeks, statements have been made that go beyond criticism to target me personally. Criticism is part of any public responsibility, and I accept it with absolute normality. What I do not consider acceptable is that disagreement leads to defamation and personal attacks or attempts to discredit professionals who have been doing our work for many years with rigor, honesty, and dedication,” she explains. “This type of behavior does not contribute to debate, fosters hatred, and should have no place in a democratic society,” she concludes.
