Socialist Ximo Puig, former president of the Generalitat Valenciana, has hired the nephew of Gabriela Bravo, the former Minister of Justice with the socialist Consell and partner of the OECD ambassador in Paris, as the driver of the official vehicle he maintains as a former leader.

The Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) publishes this Thursday the appointment of Simeón David Vercher Bravo as the new chauffeur in charge of the Office of Former Presidents of the Generalitat, as reported by the newspaper Las Provincias. Puig and Bravo are scheduled to marry next September.
Bravo’s nephew joins after his predecessor’s departure. He will receive an annual salary of 43,000 euros to cover the travel of the former socialist leader, who maintains an agenda in the Valencian Community.
Puig is entitled to two advisors and a driver, as well as a physical office, under the statute of former presidents, which at least the last three, Francisco Camps, Alberto Fabra, and Carlos Mazón, all from the PP, have availed themselves of.
The former leader of the PSPV-PSOE has all three available positions covered. Mazón has as an advisor his former regional secretary of Communication and personal friend, José Manuel Cuenca, who left his post after the former’s controversial resignation due to the public reprobation of the dana victims.
