The German authorities continued the investigation until determining that two of the alleged perpetrators could be hiding in Spanish territory. For all these reasons, a joint investigation was initiated between the National Police and the German police authorities of Delmenhorst, coordinated by Europol.
After various meetings and operational procedures, the investigators managed to determine that one of the wanted fugitives was hiding in the city of Valencia. Once the possible whereabouts of the fugitive were located, a device was established that culminated in his location and arrest.
Subsequently, two raids were carried out in two homes where he was hiding and where three loaded and ready-to-fire short firearms were seized, as well as electronic devices and cash.
