The Mossos d’Esquadra arrested a man at 3:20 a.m. this Saturday in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) who had two outstanding arrest warrants for murder and possession of weapons, police sources told Europa Press.

According to El Caso, the detainee is linked to a shooting in Parc de les Planes in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, with one dead and one critically injured; and to another in the Pegaso park in Barcelona, where a 15-year-old boy died, although the Catalan police have not confirmed this connection and maintain an open investigation.

The man was spotted this Friday and plainclothes officers ended up arresting him at dawn on Progrés street in the town.
