The Public Prosecutor’s Office requests an investigation into the mayor of Móstoles, Manuel Bautista, following the complaint filed by a councilor of the local City Council in February, in which she accused the mayor, from the same party, of sexual and workplace harassment. Before resorting to legal action, the councilor sought help from the Madrid PP, the party she had been part of since 2010, but within the organization, Isabel Díaz Ayuso’s number two, Alfonso Serrano, and number three, Ana Millán, pressured her not to report it. The woman ultimately resigned her councilor seat at the end of 2024. Now, the Public Prosecutor’s Office requests the judge to open proceedings against Bautista and the PP.
