A dispute outside a bar in the Valencian town of Massanassa ended this Thursday with one fatality and the arrest of the alleged perpetrator. The incident occurred at dawn when an uncle and his nephew started a fight that ended with the latter stabbing the former, which proved fatal, according to sources from the Civil Guard.

Both men began a violent dispute, the reasons for which are unknown, inside a bar in the town and, according to Levante-EMV, the establishment’s staff tried to separate them but the heated argument continued outside. Shortly after, the victim, 43 years old, was allegedly stabbed by the nephew, 22 years old.

Local Police and Civil Guard patrols arrived at the scene on Blasco Ibáñez Avenue in Massanassa, although the alleged murderer had fled. He was later located and arrested and remains in Civil Guard custody.
